She is familiar with the humdrum life that drowning in unfulfillment and diminishing dreams can cause. She has experienced the yearning and the pull to go higher; yet, not moving forward “to step outside the box;” due to life’s busyness, fear of the unknown, and frozen by the “paralysis of analysis.” She was caught in a web of languishing and going nowhere, fast.
It was during Linda’s recovery period after being stricken with Stage 4 Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, that she began her journey of total holistic healing. Linda discovered the Faith-Empowered Fundamentals and Strategies for authentic Life Transformation and how to break through the progress blockers that held her captive. Linda experienced freedom like never before as she learned to walk in God’s truth and embrace her divine unique identity. She has learned that successful abundant living, is a “Walk of Faith,” taking one step at a time; and if necessary, to “do it afraid.” Linda has adopted Dr. Martin Luther King’s famous quote as her mantra, “Faith is taking the first step even when you don't see the whole staircase.”
Since her bout with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, Linda is even more determined to live a flourishing life that radiates and exemplifies the awesomeness of God, while positively impacting the lives of others. Linda describes her mission as influencing and inspiring Women of Faith to discover and live the “Abundant Life” that they were promised. She encourages them to take a step of faith, and “Get Unstuck.” She reminds them “It is Never Too Late, So, let’s Get Moving. Become What you Believe.” Linda wholeheartedly believes that this is the season for every Amazing Woman of Faith, to live the life that God Dreams for her.
Linda is passionate about equipping and empowering women to walk in God’s truth. She is known nationally for her inspiring workshops, power pact Women’s Bible Studies and Support Groups, and life-transforming Women’s Empowerment Retreats. She highly values learning and encourages personal growth and development: Spirit, Soul, and Body.
Linda was a Michigan State, Department of Human Services Manager for 10 years, and the Assistant Director of the Federal TRiO Educational Opportunity Center at Wayne State University for 17 years. Despite her very busy schedule, Linda loves to mentor millennials and encourage them to Excel Over Challenges and Be Great! Currently, she is active in ministry, and busy advancing the vision of Faith Walk Life Coaching.
Linda is a Certified Professional Life Coach (CPLC, Professional Christian Coaches Institute, ICF approved). Linda holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology/Psychology and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health and Community Counseling from Wayne State University. She is a State Licensed (LPC), Nationally Certified (NCC), Board Certified Tele-Mental Health (BC-TMH) Counselor, and Nationally Certified Clinical Supervisor (ACS). Linda is also a Certified Women’s Ministry Leader (Light University, ACA), and an ordained minister.
Linda’s favorite pastimes are traveling and experiencing God’s diverse creation, listening to the birds sing, walking by the water, and watching the sunrise. You can always find her reading a good book. Her favorite quotes are “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure;” by Marianne Williamson and “She Believed She Could, So She Did.” by R.S. Grey.
